10 Features We’d Like to See New iPhone 7

iphone 6 video review
The iPhone 7 is still a ways out, but we can dream. What are the next iPhone features would you most look forward to? What do you want changed? Let’s take a mix of rumor, extrapolation, and really hard wishing, then see what the updated features of the iPhone 7 could be.

1. A “Just Right” Screen

Now that Apple has proven more willing to experiment with screen sizes, it would be great if the Apple iPhone 7 settles on a screen format that everyone loves – not quite as big as the 6 Plus, but not nearly as small as the pre-6 models. Perhaps somewhere around a 5-inch screen would work best. Keep in mind that Apple still has a little room to expand the screen on the smaller phone model, but a slightly larger form factor would be great, too. The goal is to keep one-handed phone use viable but provide a bigger, fancier screen for our latest visuals.

2. Force Technology

Force technology is the cool-sounding term for touch sensor technology that Apple has equipped on its smart watch. The Apple Watch uses a new display that is even more sensitive than its previous screens, and can differentiate between a quick tap and a firmer press. This opens up a whole new world of potential commands for the iPhone. Hey, the technology already exists, so please give us this new feature, Apple.

3. Sidewall Displays

Apple has a design for something called a “sidewall display” and may be gearing up to use this technology on phones. We’ve already seen something very similar to a sidewall when it comes to phones in the Galaxy Note Edge, which includes a small edge screen that can show the time, pop up notifications, and let you get a glimpse of text messages with the need to open any covers or go past the lock screen. This would be one of the biggest new features of an iPhone, and it would be great to see what Apple could do with a sidewall display and a little creativity.

4. Apple Wireless Charging

Wireless charging already exists in many pads and sleeves on the market, but there’s not an Apple wireless charging solution built into the phone…yet. Apple may or may not be working on wireless charging, depending on what rumors you believe. However, with the rise of wireless charging devices, it seems likely that Apple will want to jump on this train sooner rather than later. The iPhone 7 may well be optimized for inductive charging and released alongside an Apple wireless charging device for some great cross sales.

5. 3D Effects

Will Apple offer any 3D effects as part of its new iPhone update features? It seems like a distant possibility, since Apple doesn’t have much experience in this area. But it would be a great way to attract attention, and Apple may want to show up other efforts in this area, like Amazon’s Fire Phone and its multiple cameras. What this would look like isn’t quite clear yet, but let’s assume Apple could impress us with some almost-holographic displays.

6. DSLR-Quality Camera

There are several exciting possibilities for the next-gen iPhone camera. It could offer a two-lens system to massively boost the quality of images and potential for photo apps and settings. It could offer 4K video capture 21-megapixel photos. It may even offer a lens-swap option that lets you replace the lens with new version in best DSLR fashion (expect on a teeny-tiny scale). Whichever way Apple goes, it would be great to see a massive improvement in the camera and its picture taking options. It’s a selfie, selfie, selfie world out there, and Apple should capitalize on it.

7. More Power

Obviously we can expect an Apple processor upgrade. Each new generation of the iPhone has added a very respectable increase to power and speed capabilities thanks to a new chip, and the iPhone 7 certainly won’t be an exception. There are rumors that the new chip will be 20% more powerful and 35% more power efficient than anything seen in the iPhone 6. Other rumors state that there will be around 2GB of RAM in the 7 to help you manage all the latest apps.

8. Extra Protection

It would be great to see some effort put into making the iPhone 7’s body stronger and more resistant against everyday ills. Perhaps Apple will replace its screen with a Sapphire version that will be stronger and more resistant to cracking than previous screens, something that should certainly be in the works if it is not. The company could also take steps to wateproof its case, protecting it against some of the worst accidents, like a plunge into water. Or at least let us drop in on the sidewalk without any damage, because it’s going to happen at some point anyway.

9. Unlocked NFC

This is an important one. Currently Apple does indeed use an NFC (near field communication) chip in its iPhone, but the chip is locked to only work with Apple Pay. It’s a strange decision, because NFC can be used for a ton of exciting activities by businesses and developers alike, allowing you to communicate at a distance with many different objects and devices. In a bid to expand the Internet of Things and iPhone compatibility, it would be great to see Apple unlock NFC for the iPhone7s.

10. Joystick Home Button

This idea is a little far fetched, but it’s still a possibility. There’s even a patent for what seems like a joystick version of the Apple home button. In this case, the button could expand into a mini joystick that could be moved around in order to control various on screen activities. The goal would be to target the growing iPhone game market with an new ability, and it sure sounds like fun.

iPhone Air With Edge-To-Edge Retina Display 2

 iphone-6

We’ve seen concepts of the iPhone Air before, but I can’t think of one I like more — or that I think looks more plausible — than Joseph Farahi’s 5.1-inch iPhone 6 concept. This actually looks like a device Jony Ive could design.
Extremely thin — yet not so thin that it would be structurally weak — Farahi imagines the iPhone 6 has featuring a 10 megapixel camera capable of recording 4K video, a 5.1-inch display, and a new Lighting 2 connector that is faster than the previous one. That’s certainly possible, given that Lightning was designed to be adaptable to new technologies without physical changes. I’m not sure about this “Retina Display 2” with RGBY pixels, though. RGBY is a real thing, made by Sharp, but tests have shown that it can’t show any colors that regular displays can show… although that may be because there’s simply no media out there that actually contains information on the yellow channel. Seems like a sketchy tech for Apple to embrace, frankly.
What I like most, though, is the edge-to-edge display. Concepts oven feature bezel-less iPhones, but they’re always wildly impractical: you just can’t have a display that reaches the edge like that right now. Farahi’s edge-to-edge display has just enough bezel that the iPhone 6 looks like it would still be structurally sound, but it’s still almost imperceptible.
What do you think? Do you like this concept? Let us know in the comments.Source from http://www.cultofmac.com

Obejrzyjcie sami poniższy filmik i zdjęcia, robią wrażenie. Dodatkowo zachęcam do odwiedzenia strony poświęconej tej wizualizacji na której cały koncept jest świetnie zwizualizowany.Source from applecenter.pl

HTC Announces the HTC 10, Its 'Most Refined Flagship a Smartphone' Ever

HTC Announces the HTC 10, Its 'Most Refined Flagship Smartphone' Ever
This morning, after months of leaks and anticipation, HTC officially unveiled its latest flagship smartphone. Named HTC 10, the Taiwanese phone maker’s newest device is a sequel to last year’s lackluster One M9 and is touted by the company as its “most refined” smartphone ever. We can’t attest to the truth, or lack thereof, of that statement until we get our hands on the HTC 10 ourselves, but on paper the claim has serious weight.
The first indication of HTC’s renewed dedication to delivering a polished powerhouse of a phone is the name. After the revolutionary HTC One in 2013, the company endeavored on a path of confusing monikers for its flagships that were a mouthful more than anything. In 2016, simplification is the game, and gone are the “One” and “M” attributes, leaving just the number 10 to adorn the new slab of aluminum and glass. As for the design, after taking flak for last year’s uber iterative installment, the HTC 10 features an aesthetic that recalls the original One, with distinctive and pronounced chamfered edges that give the phone a much bolder look than that of the M9, but isn’t too out there to raise many concerns. The oval fingerprint scanner from the One A9 has been carried over, replacing the HTC logo found on previous flagships.
htc10design.jpgOne trend HTC has managed to keep at arm’s length are the hulking screen sizes found on most high-end smartphones. While in no way small, like the recent iPhone SE, the HTC 10 comes in at a more manageable screen size of 5.2-inches. It is a small bump up from the M9, but not a massive increase. In every other way, though, the HTC 10 is a flagship through and through. The aforementioned LCD screen is now Quad HD with a PPI of 564. Powering the phone is the top-of-the-line Snapdragon 820 and 4GB of RAM. The device comes with 32 or 64GB of storage, with a microSD card slot for further expansion up to 2TB. BoomSound speakers make a triumphant return after being noticeably absent from the One A9 last fall, though in this iteration only one speaker is front-facing (the other fires out of the phone’s bottom chin, to make room for the fingerprint scanner). A trend the company has thankfully jumped on board with is USB Type-C, which pairs with a healthy battery of 3,000 mAh which HTC claims will get users two days of normal use.

The most lamented aspect of HTC’s flagships have not been the internal specifications and screen resolution, however, but their continually underperforming cameras. Of course, we cannot make any claim about the quality of the HTC 10’s camera, but once again the paper specs here are promising. The back facing camera comes in at 12MP (UltraPixel is back this year, so take that as you will), with a huge aperture of f/1.8, laser autofocus, dual tone LED flash and Optical Image Stabilization. It’s capable of shooting 4K video, slow motion in 720p at 120fps and includes Auto-HDR. A Pro mode with manual control and the ability to shoot RAW images are also included. The front-facing camera is a 5MP shooter with the same f/1.8 aperture and Optical Image Stabilization, as well.
HTC claims this camera is the best it has ever put into a smartphone, but that’s a claim the company has made before, so our official judgement will be reserved for our full review. That said, the bullet points concerning the HTC 10 camera are certainly intriguing, and if it can compete in the same league with the Nexus 6P and within shouting distance of the Samsung Galaxy S7 and LG’s latest cameras, then the HTC 10 will be an extremely compelling device.
We will have lots more with the HTC 10 in the coming days and weeks, including hands-on impressions and, of course, a full review.Source from http://www.pastemagazine.com

Samsung to Launch a Foldable new Smartphone That Easily Squeezes Into Your Pocket

A smartphone is supposed to fit comfortably in your side pocket. But today smartphones are larger than ever, with screens so big that it can’t be easily slipped into your pocket
To address this issue, Samsung is working on a foldable smartphone. Samsung is set to mass produce this foldable device by the end of this year and release the folding handset sometime next year. The foldable device is known internally as a Smartlet.
The Smartlet folds in two like a book and will look like a regular 5” smartphone, slightly smaller than the new Samsung Galaxy S7. It can be expanded by being pulled up by the user. Once unfolded, this device will expand to 7”.
Samsung hopes to attract consumer attention with this new product in the slowing market that saw explosive growth in the last decade.
Samsung has spent years in developing this technology. The foldable device is being developed under the codename Project Valley. It will use bendable plastic screens being developed by Samsung’s display division.
Samsung haven’t yet come out with details regarding this device but industry sources claim that two versions of the phone are being tested – one with a Snapdragon 620 processor and another with a Snapdragon 820.Source from http://www.industrytap.com

New iPhone 7 (iPhone 7 Plus)

New iPhone 7 (iPhone 7 Plus) Release Date

Apple-iPhone-7-release-date
Traveling back time, we can see that since 2013 Apple has been releasing its product in the month of September. iPhone 5c and 5s were launched on 10 September(2013), iPhone 6 and 6 Plus were launched on 9th September(2014) and iPhone 6s and 6s Plus were launched on 9 September, 2015. Therefore, we are expecting Apple to maintain this tradition next year as well. However, our close observation reveals that Apple prefers launching their product on Tuesdays. So the most probable days for releasing Apple’s phone will be either 6th or 13th September, 2016. And thereafter it will be released globally by the end of the month.
On the other hand, there are also rumors that Apple is going to launch  its next generation iPhones i.e. iPhone 7 and iPhone 7s in two different dates. This decision might have been taken to deal with the global competition. So we can expect iPhone 7 in coming spring and iPhone 7s in the next autumn. If these phones are not released simultaneously, then we are not expecting some major updates to be included in the two phones. However, these are mere speculations and we are not really sure about it. So mark the date for iPhone 7 Release date.

Rumored iPhone 7 Specifications

Processor

iphone-7
We are quite sure that iPhone 7 and 7s are going to be powered by A10 processor. Every year Apple introduces this performance upgrade in their flagship products, so 2016 will be no exception to it. However, there are rumors about iPhone 7 being powered by A10 processor that will have six cores. The present processor has dual cores, and therefore the leap from two to six is highly controversial. Just in case this upgrade is being included in the next generation iPhone, then it is going to boost the performance level of the phone to a great extent. For the first time this year iPhones came with 2GB RAM and we are expecting it to continue with 2GB RAM in future course of time.

Design

iPhone  6 and 6 Plus and iPhone 6s and 6s Plus more or less have the same design. In the s series of Apple smartphones not much design changes are being included. Next year iPhone 7 will be introduced and therefore we are expecting a total change of design and structure in the next generation iPhones. iPhone 6s and 6s Plus came with a screen size of 4.7 and 5.5 inch screen size, but we can expect Apple to increase the screen size upto 5.7 inch.
Moreover, chances are there iPhone 7 and 7s will be made with a more durable material that will ensure that the phone has a stronger built. We were expecting iPhone 6 display to be made from sapphire glass, unfortunately we didn’t get to see that. So we would be happy to see a stronger and more durable sapphire glass display in the next generation iPhone.
There are rumors that Apple is going to do away with the home button in the next generation phone. This will help in making the screen bigger in size. However, iPhone 6s Touch ID is integrated in the home button of the phone, therefore removing it would mean that the touch id needs to be moved to either side of the phone or on the screen itself. Apple has lately submitted a patent were the touch id was present in the screen of the phone, so chances of our prediction turning into reality is high.
iPhone 7 series might come with a non metal body. The possible alternatives are ceramics, plastics or liquid metal. But what it will be, we are not sure. However, we must say that the metal body iPhone 6s looks really chic and we would be happy to see a redesigning of the phone with the same metal.
Every year Apple submits thousands of patents and 2015 is no exception. Lately it has submitted a wrap around display with a curved screen. Therefore, we can expect iPhone 7 to come with a curved wraparound display.

Rumored Add On Features

After all these years, chances of iPhone 7 to be water proof are really high. Patent has been submitted and though the research is still going on but we are expecting Apple to introduce this feature from the next generation phones.
Gesture passcodes are quite popular amongst the Android users and we might expect the same in iOS platform as well. In the iOS 9 platform we have to use a 6 digit passcode which the users are not at happy to use. Gesture entry technique patent has been already submitted by Apple and gesture passcode might be integrated in iPhone 7.
In the next generation phones, SIM card is expected to be integrated within the phone and it aligns with different carriers and has the same feature as the normal SIM card. Introduction of this feature in iPhone 7 is going to make the phone far more secured.
Wireless charging unit was expected to arrive along with iPhone 6s, however it was not introduced. So we are expecting Apple to introduce wireless charging option in the next generation phone.
It goes without saying that iPhone 7 will be powered by iOS 10 and therefore it will flaunt all the new features that are being included in the next generation iOS platform.

iPhone 7 Camera

iPhone 7 Camera
In iPhone 6s and 6s Plus Apple has introduced a major leap in the megapixel factor. The previous iPhones came with 8MP camera, the latest one comes with 12MP camera. So we are not expecting any further improvisation in this regard. However, we are expecting Apple to introduce some new technology in the latest camera that will ensure better quality images clicked with the help of this phone.

iPhone 7 Battery

There are rumors that iPhone 7’s battery will come with layered battery units so that Apple could use all the space available in the chassis and make the battery all the more powerful. Hopefully such improvisation is going to resolve all battery problems from henceforth.

Storage Capacity

Usually iPhones come with three storage options 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. But we are hopeful this time Apple will remove the 16GB variant and iPhones will be available from 32GB storage capacity and upwards. The 32GB phone should be made available at a moderate price that will encourage more consumers to invest on it.

Rumored iPhone 7 Price

Apple-iPhone-7-Price
As far as the price of this product is concerned, it is really difficult to speculate about this. However, previously we have seen the price of the flagship products have remained more or less the same. Therefore, we can guess that iPhone 7 will come with a price tag of $850 for 16GB, $1000 for 64GB and $1100 for 128GB.
We will keep updating our readers about more news and rumors about iPhone 7, until then keep reading!!
